HMS Ocean has been on deployment for seven & a half months, including being involved in Operation Ellamy.
Now they're coming home for Christmas...

This made me laugh & smile & tear up, too!

How do you embed a YouTube in an entry? I saw a vid on someone's non-LJ blog that I'd like to post on my journal.

If you're using LJ's posting interface, just click on the the little arrow button next to the 'insert image' picture. That's the 'insert media' command. A pop up opens & you paste the embed code (that you got from youtube) into there.
It's really easy. :)

Underneath the vid at youtube there's a 'share' button.
Press that & then select 'embed'. A box will appear with the html code you need. Just copy & paste that into your lj post. :)
