Fic, gifts, Blake & a terracotta army!

Mr B & I had a lovely day down in London yesterday & the Terracotta Army exhibition at the BM was amazing. They'd placed it in the Reading Room & it was beautifully presented. The actual terracotta soldiers & horses, etc were breath-taking. I can really recommend this exhibition. Oh & do pay the extra £3.50 for the audio tour - it's excellent.

Thank you to everyone who'd been helping me in my search for 'Clash of the Choirs' (especially [livejournal.com profile] tarlanx & [livejournal.com profile] liresius *hugs*.) I've got them! Yay!
We've watched the first three eps & now have the finale to watch this evening.
Oh, I do ♥ Blake Shelton so much.
That's him in my icon in case you don't know who the heck I'm talking about!
He's so funny & I must admit his humour is a welcome relief for me with some of the other more 'worthy' guest choir masters.
I think all the choirs are excellent.
Oh, & thanks to the fabulous [livejournal.com profile] thisisbone for keeping me updated before I was even able to watch it - & putting up with all my Blake Shelton squee! *g*

I'm honoured to say that Green Glass has been nominated in the [livejournal.com profile] mome_awards - which is lovely as I've just added more in this 'verse!
It's in the RPS Classics section under Sean Bean/Orlando Bloom Long Fiction here.
Do go & check out all the great stories & vote (for me, for me! *g* Seriously - for your favourites!)

Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] foxrafer for organising these awards!

I've received my gift from the [livejournal.com profile] sga_santa.
Do go here & read it - it's so sweet. ♥

Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] moonlettuce & [livejournal.com profile] alyse for all their hard work in organising this exchange.

Please do try & leave feedback for any of the stories that you enjoy at this comm (or any other) - as a writer/artist I know how happy I am to hear what people think. And how depressing it can be when the comments are few & far between...

Here's another festive song to help with the holiday spirit. ♥

Born on Christmas Day by Brad Paisley
Please 'right-click & save'!

I like this because this is a song he wrote & performed when he was eleven or so & that's been blended in with him singing it now.

It was so cold & frosty when I went running this morning - I think my face froze! *g* It felt good to blow the cobwebs out though after being in the bustle of the city yesterday.
