Oyster Farmer interviews with The O'Lough
As part of my continuing love affair with 'Oyster Farmer', here are a couple of interviews that I found online.
Alex was still going as Alex O'Lachlan when he made this film (though the presenter in the second clip gets his name completely wrong! *g*)
He seems a little less polished than in interviews now - which is frankly adorable - & I love it when he talks about how he's an Australian bloke. :)
I snagged this & converted it to .avi as usual (to save in case of a youtube meltdown/global zombie apocalypse/etc. *g*)
AOL: Oyster Farmer interview 01
.avi, ~ 22 MB, ~ 3 mins
Please do 'right-click & save' & no hot-linking.
Sounds like Alex has a sore throat (which shouldn't be so damn sexy!)
AOL: Oyster Farmer interview 02
.avi, ~ 16 MB, ~ 2 mins
Please do 'right-click & save' & no hot-linking.
Oh my heart. I love this film so, so much...

I love hearing his 'Steve' voice but his own accent is just so sexy, too.

I do hope you enjoy it!
I think he was only about 28 when he made it (though he looks even younger, bless him!)

I always like to keep my own copy - just in case. *g*

Yeah, his accent is fainter in interviews now. Though it makes me smile when he's being interviewed by the Australian media because his accent gets stronger. :)

Kind of funny that as Alex is describing what the film's about, what Jack Flange goes up the river seeking and what he finds -- a family -- I can't help but hear echoes in his later descriptions of Steve McGarrett and what *he's* seeking and finds in his new 5-0 ohana.

He was cute then (look at the chubby cheeks! :-D ), but like JFlan, he just has gotten better with age!
I've got a serious new crush. :-) I must rent this movie, looks like a good one!

I love this film. It's a wonderful little Australian black comedy that gently meanders along.
