Finally, after all these years we get... The Hug!!! ♥

I fear I might be drooling at work! but only two words come to mind right now: FINALLY!!! and thanks! *BBIIIIIGG SIGH* ... they're just TOOO SWEET!!

And on a somber note, why didn't JM's talk about JF? He can talk about the three team members plus include a segment on JS plus talk about RP but no JF? That's utter bullshit.

I know how you feel. This made me melt but it made me a little sad too - I miss them so much.

Oh, JM! Pah! I think it was beyond tacky (& downright rude) that he didn't even mention the guy who's had first credit on the show for five years! (And been one of the reasons for its success & popularity!)
As much as I love JS, it felt unfair that her segment seemed to take up virtually as much time as the other mentioned cast members put together.

It's such a lovely, heartfelt, loving hug! They obviously really do love each other (in a manly way I'm sure!).

I watched the entire thing on the MGM site and I feel the same as you. I couldn't understand why JF didn't get his own segment and it was very noticeable that JM had nothing at all to say about RL who got a tiny snippet of a segment, whereas JS's segment was much longer. All kudos to JS but she was only in 2 seasons and RL was in all 5! I loved the DH bit but it made no sense at all that JF wasn't featured. His absence when he's the headliner for the show seemed quite pointed.

It really is a lovely, 'real' hug, isn't it? Bless them! ♥

I was disgusted with the way JM just ignored JFlan. That was very, very tacky - no class at all. And poor RL was pretty much an afterhtought, as usual. Just like the way they treated Teyla. *sigh*
I really like JS & it wasn't her fault they wrote her character so inconsistently but why did she get such a chunk of this 'goodbye' compared to everyone else?
Joe Mallozzi just makes me grind my teeth! Grrrr.

Watching this clip made me both happy and sad. It's going to be another "classic" in McShep part of fandom =)

And I'm not even going to comment on JM lack of acknowledgment for Joe. 'Cos it's beyond outrageous.

I'm as melted as a very, very melt-y thing. *g*

I'm no McShepper but that was a beautiful moment between friends and I love how they are all like family. After seeing the wonderful bond Jason and Joe had as well, its such a shame that the ptb squandered all that wonderful chemistry to hightlight Keller and Mckay at the end. I cannot say how disgusted I am at JM that he could blatantly snub the leading star of the show and give so much time to Jewel Staite and not one mention to Joe Flanigan. Unbelievabley unprofessional but sadly the writers obsession with Jewel and David took over the show and everyone else got sidelined just like in his farewell video.

I love the idea that the cast really are friends - reading the DH & JF have met up for lunch in LA just makes me ridiculously happy. The same for reading con reports about how genuine the friendships really are between all the cast just makes me smile. ♥

I think JM's behaviour has been rude, unprofessional & downright tacky. Whereas, from what I've read, even when he's been talking about how things ended, JF has been nothing but classy (just as I'd expect.)

Let's hope the cast get to work together again or if not, at least maintain their close bonds. ♥

My that was a long hug. And I think they were ~~whispering sweet nothings~~ mumbling to each other pretty much all the way through it.

I'd love to know what they were saying. ;-)
