You know that pic of Teh Flan in glasses?

lantean_drift & I were chatting the other day & I was saying that I could really see an older, more-comfortable-with-his-sex-appeal version of Julian Lodge looking exactly like that. (Julian Lodge is the lawyer character played by JF in 'First Monday').
It's just how I picture him when I read Yin's fabulous Snakes & Lawyers Universe where Julian is with Emmett (Teh Hewlett's character in 'Boa vs Python'). I love that universe so much - plus it has McShep too. ♥
Then what should appear on my flist today but a gorgeous promo pic of JF as Julian! Tis fate. *g*

So, anyway, on to the photographic 'proof' (heh) to support my suggestion...

Guh, both so so hot. I love Yin's 'verse, though it makes me really want to see First Monday. I remember watching it when it was first on the air but I need to find them somewhere so I can watch them again.

2. OMG, I've never seen that Julian picture. *drool*
3. Secret: I don't actually like the Flan's glasses. I believe I had similar frames when I was a freshman in college. In the 80's. It is my contention that Julian wears gold wire-rimmed reading glasses. Now, if Flan could oblige me by being photographed in those...my sad and pathetic life would be complete.

I can very happily see Julian in the gold-rimmed glasses too (I'm easy, that way. *g*) What really caught my imagination with the Flan pic was how delightfully rumpled-yet-still-studious he looked. It immediately made me think of Emmett doing something very naughty with Julian behind the stacks in the law library. *g*
I absolutely adore your universe & it's always on my list of recs that I give out when I'm pimping my fandom. Thank you again for sharing!

Oh, & yes - we just need a certain Mr F to model a range of glasses & we can all swoon happily. It's not that much to ask, surely? ;-)
