Fic? Anyone?

I'm having a minor emotional wobble today & just want to distract myself a bit. I feel the need for some good, solid hurt/comfort - Sheppard/McKay by choice but some Gibbs/DiNozzo wouldn't hurt (in fact any good h/c please.) Heavy on the comfort & with a happy ending please - I definitely need a happy ending today.
So if anyone has some recs, please let me know. Thanks. ♥

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] thegrrrl2002 for the cap.

This is sooo old, I'm sure you've read it, but it's still one of my favorites so I pimp it at every opportunity:

First Aid for Sleeping Scientists (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=823)

Just a little post-Storm/Eye comforty thing.

I have no story recs (my crap memory ;-), but *hugs*

Also, such a pretty picture. There's a man who needs a hug or three himself. *g*

I think that this one is very comforty...

~hugs~ I had an emotional wobble today, too, so I shall stay glued to your LJ, waiting for the H/C recs to come on in. And here's mine: Thicker than Water (http://yearningvoid.net/stories/julad/000086.html) by Julad. I read this at the weekend and it filled me with warmth. Lots of bridge building and righting wrongs and emotional support. In fact, I may read it again now...

He is a sincerely beautiful man, isn't he? There is just no bad there.

I'm sorry you're not having a good day! One of my favorite fics that never fails to cheer me up is [livejournal.com profile] coreopsis's Unexpectable. Not H/C in the strict sense, I suppose, but to me it is because John is just so *happy* at the end. Makes me feel all warm and squishy inside. *g*

Can't help you with your current fandoms but - two silly things to make you smile:

Song of Disgruntlement (http://www.neilgaiman.com/journal/2006/11/suomeksi-song-of-disgruntlement.html)

Joe's beauty is quite painful, isn't it?

And here's a rec:

Imperfections by Dasha
It's an SGA/Sentinel crossover, but you don't need to know anything about The Sentinel to read the fic.

Unfortunately I don't have any recommendations but I can send some hugs and happy thoughts your way.

I'm sending you {{{hugs}}}

I haven't been on Lj in a day and this is 75 entries back on the flist! I love Dasha for h/c. Perhaps Salt of the Earth? It's long and it's not really sad, but there is a little. It has a good ending. There's huge hurt and much comfort though and very long and well written. Here's her author page on area 52

Seeing is Believing. It's a bit old and you may have already read it but I love it.
