Thank you so much for all of the wonderful cards, prezzies & good wishes that I've had for my birthday today!
I know I haven't been around on lj much lately & it's just so lovely of everyone to be so kind. Thank you.

I've been so lucky - many Black Labrador themed gifts (hmmm, I wonder why? *g*) plus some beautiful jewellery from xanthelj & pirate_hussies.
Mr Bluespirit got me the dvd of 'The Lake House' which I adored at the cinema. (Though I do replay it in my head with John in the Keanu role & Rodney as Sandra Bullock! *ggg*)
We're off for a few days R&R tomorrow. It's been a stressful few weeks (well, months really) & so we're off to recharge our batteries. Luckily I have a large extended family (despite being an only child) & so I don't have to worry about Mom while we're away - plus Rascal is staying with her, something they're both very excited about! ♥

My angel lantean_drift *cough* who? *ggg* has written me a really lovely, lyrical McShep fic called 'Keeping the World at Bay'. It's almost poetic in its beautiful choice of language & symmetry & I just adore it.
*dreamy sigh*
And the wonderful araestel has made me a gorgeous McShep image - do go & drool here. ♥

I'll be back home soon & hopefully I can start spending more time with everyone! ♥
