Cancer Research 10K race
I ran in the Cancer Research UK 10K event at Weston Park yesterday.
Last year my wonderful Dad had been there cheering me along - this time I ran in his memory & had his picture on my running vest. It's only been three weeks since our world became a dimmer place & so I did get a little teary as I ran the course. But I wanted to do it for my Dad & to help raise money so that hopefully one day no one else will be lost to this terrible disease.

I think that's wonderful that you are trying to get more people involved in the fight against cancer. Your Dad will certainly be smiling down on you from heaven for it. *hugs*

Dad had a tremendous enthusiasm for life & such a positive outlook & so I just want to try & do what I can in his memory. ♥
