Catching up
It's been a busy week or so. We've had some sad RL news, which I won't dwell on, but fortunately a few nice things, too.
We went down to London for a couple of days last week. We visited the Sherlock exhibition at the Museum of London, saw Mamma Mia! at the Novello & the Poppy installation at the Tower of London. It was a brilliant visit - we had such an amazing time.
Hmmm, this seems familiar...
THE coat!

Ceramic poppies in the moat of the Tower - one poppy for every British & Commonwealth soldier who died during the First World War. There'll be over 888,000 when they're all planted. It was incredibly moving.

And we went to Coalbrookdale at the weekend & did a lovely walk up in the fields & hills there. Bud loved it - especially mooching in the brooks & streams. :)

There's no new Spn this week but the trailer for next week looks awesome!
And how cute were the boys in their Halloween costumes? LOL

I love that Misha is doing 'Dean's' bow legs! And Jensen is making that Sam face!
Love it! \o/
I hope that everyone is happy & well!
*hugs*

Those poppies are simply amazing.
Jensen, Jared & Misha were too funny! Jensen looks way too much like Sam there... It's freaky.

How are you feeling now? Better, I hope.

I actually did a double take at Jensen as Sam! LOL

But no, I just love all things Conan Doyle related, and I'm sure it will be great to see Sherlock-through-the-ages as well as maybe doing some deductions!
Depending when I go, I think there are also some walks and outside visits available, looking at sites from the books, so that might be an option, too.
Have a good weekend.

Was the Sherlock exhibition good? My grand-daughter would kill to see it and if it's worth it I might treat her to a day-trip in the new year. Think it's on into 2015...

I can really rec the exhibition. Be warned though - it isn't just about Sherlock (BBC), of course. (Which I'm sure you know!) I'm afraid there were a few teenage fangirls who seemed a little at sea that there weren't more BC related things. *g* But there were lots of really interesting installations.

It has been fascinating seeing those poppies spread as friends over the months have posted pictures.
I am the last person in the world not to have seen even the film of Mamma Mia yet, but I hope the show was good!

The poppies are amazing, aren't they?
I saw them back in July when I took my Mom down for the day (& we visited Clarence House) & it was impressive then, but it's even more so now.
I adore the film of Mamma Mia! but had never seen the stage show - it was superb. What a fun evening! :)

Such a shame that you can't come over - we could have met up!
