I'm home! (And enjoying rapturous snuggles with the Budster! ♥ )

We had the most fabulous holiday with so many cool/interesting/fabulous experiences - two black bears in Shenandoah, a Space Shuttle in DC, more civil war battlefields than you can shake a stick musket at, truly awesome class V rapids, the Liberty Bell, running up the 'Rocky' steps, dinosaurs!, glorious hiking, covered bridges, pie! - & an sgamadison, to boot! \o/

I'll make a proper post (with pics) in a few days when I've had time to get sorted out - & get to answering email, comments, etc. Apologies in advance - it's going to take me a while to get caught up.
Oh, & there's all the great fic & art over at mcshep_match (go, Team Sheppard!) & fic at sheppard_hc, too! :)

We've come home to some sad news, too, though - my uncle passed away while we were gone. I'd visited him just before we left, but he took a turn for the worse.
The funeral is tomorrow - I'm so glad that at least we're here to say goodbye.

Oh, I'm so glad it arrived!
Yeah, these two good looking guys asked for your address - I didn't think you'd mind as they were really cute (though obviously 'off the market'. *g*)

And we're over the moon to be back with the Budster! ♥ Being away from him is the only bad thing about travelling.

*looks outside* Not sure about the summer part (still grey and dreary weather) but I'm fine :) Started work last week, which was nice and I'm enjoying reading great McShep stories :)
