26.2 miles...

Okay, so I did it - I signed up to run my first marathon!
I'm taking part in the Shakespeare Marathon in Stratford-upon-Avon on 29th April! All 26.2 miles of it... yikes!
I wanted to run a marathon before I was forty & as time is growing short.... *g* Heh - here I am.
I have a half-marathon next month & that works in well with my training programme (I've been training with the marathon in mind for a few months).
I'll be running both races in aid of Cancer Research UK & in memory of my Dad.
I do have a fundraising page if anyone wants to support this charity. Thank you. ♥

Now, I'm going to need a very long playlist for my iPod, so if anyone has any suggestions.... *g*

Wow, 26.2 miles, that is quite some distance. You are very brave, but I know that you can do it!
I wish you the best of luck with both your marathons. And Cancer research Uk is a well deserving charity (my mum died from cancer when I was seven), I will be glad to sponsor you.

Yeah, 26.2 miles (have to add that important 0.2! *g*) - I may possibly be mad. ;-)
But I set myself the challenge & am going to do my best!

Thanks in advance for the sponsorship - that's so kind of you. Yeah, I think Cancer Research is such a worthwile charity. Sorry about your mom - that must have been hard.
