Running & the DH charity auction (they're not related! *g*)

I did the last long run of my training schedule today - 15 miles - & will now taper for the final three weeks. And then it's the marathon!

My taper looks like this (if anyone is interested *g*)

week 3:
rest, 3 miles, cross-train, 4 miles, 5 miles, cross-train, 12 miles

week 2:
rest, 3 miles, cross-train, 4 miles, 5 miles, cross-train, 8 miles

week 1 - marathon week!:
rest, 3 miles, cross-train, 3 miles, 3 miles, rest - travel to London *g*, MARATHON! 26.2 miles

In other news, today is the final day of the David Hewlett Birthday Charity Auction & things are definitely hotting up with the bidding. There are still lots of items with no bids though, so do pop over & check out the great bargains!
I'm amazed to see that my story is currently going for £34! Crikey - that's brilliant. (Though I'd like to point out that the bidder 'bluestar' is not me! - I'm not trying to hoik the bids on my own story! *g* I'm registered with the cleverly incognito pseud of bluespirit_star!!!)

Also - exciting news from the4ts here about a special 5 day charity auction event starting tomorrow! \o/
