Bud & I took my mom down to Berrow beach yesterday for a lovely (but very blustery!) walk.
There's an old wreck there that you can walk out to at low tide. It was a Norwegian boat - the SS Nornen - that sunk in 1897. Fortunately, the 10 crew - & their dog! - were rescued by the local lifeboat! (More historical info can be found here.)
