*giggle*

Mr B's wearing one of his Star Trek ties to work today - the Enterprise D & a Klingon Bird of Prey.
As we were saying goodbye, he headed out through the front door with a jaunty, "Engage!"
LOL

We've been together for nearly 18 years (married 16 this August), & I love him more every day! ♥

Running

5 weeks until the London marathon!!
I did an 18 mile long run yesterday, & it was good. It wasn't very fast, but I was pleased with how my knee held up (it was painful but manageable.)
I'm seeing the physio again tomorrow, & she's going to show me how to strap it to help with the pain.
Mr B was having an easy week - so he ran the 18 miles with me at my pace. *g* It was lovely to run together, & we chatted the whole way. He helped keep me focussed too as 18 miles running on your own can be very lonely so having him there really helped.

We've recently 'discovered' an after sports recovery drink: 'For Goodness Shakes'. They're great for after a long run when you can't really face eating anything. They contain carbs, protein & vitamins - plus they taste totally great! My faves are the choc-malt & the vanillabean. Mr B likes the berry, but that's a little too sweet for me.

Our fundraising for our 3 charities is going really well - thank you so much to everyone who's sponsored us!
*hugs*
