Adidas 5K Challenge plus August fic round-up

Thank goodness for my pawprint wellies - it was so muddy over the woods today! Bud took it all in his stride, of course & had tonnes of fun in the pond & running around with sticks. Sticks are definitely the new tennis balls for Bud - he loves them! Though I do have to draw the line when he carries them home & wants to chew them up in the lounge. *g*

Mr B is back at work after the summer hols - I miss having him at home but it does mean that I can devote more time to fannish things. :-)

After my long lay off, recovering from the bursitis in my hip, I think I'm finally making some headway with my running again. I'm gradually building up the miles & everything is feeling good so far. *fingers crossed*
I'm running in my first event since the marathon on Sunday - a fun 5K raising funds for The Blue Cross animal charity.
