I need J&R to rub it better...
We did a 12 mile run yesterday morning along the canal & out into the countryside. There'd been a sharp frost overnight but the sun was shining & it was glorious. Right up until about the 7 mile mark when I managed to trip over goodness knows what & did a full body glide through the mud of the towpath. Ouch! I've skinned my hands & knees (& my right boob is sore though that's probably TMI *g*) But I got up & carried on running & am okay (just a bit sore).
I suppose it had to happen & it is my first fall in 5+ years of running. The bad news is though that the palm of my right hand is really skinned & sore & that's my mouse hand! Oh, the pain I suffer for the internets. *g*
